Great food. Server was very nice. Loved the peach mimosas! Seems like they wait to seat people even if there is space so their servers don't get overwhelmed. 15 out of 10! Will be back!

WOW, what a find! Open only on Saturdays and Sundays from 8-2pm. These folks bust it for those 6 hours! We got there today at 11:30 and waited for almost 40 minutes for a table. The place is small and very quaint so the wait was expected from reading other posts. We both had plenty of time to review the menu and decided on the Shrimp and Loaded Grits. Absolutely Heavenly and worth the wait. Grilled shrimp perfectly seasoned and the grits were totally a mind blower! Full of flavor and I seriously tried to finish it but I couldn’t.😞 I’m also all about the bathrooms as that’s a part of the restaurant that gets overlooked. Basic is okay but this was sooo super cute and cozy. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu soon. Awesome job!😀

It was our very first time here. Let me say that the wait was very much worth it. We ordered cinnamon rolls (oh, so good) and, because they're quite large, took one home. I chose chicken and waffle, and I'm so glad I did! The chicken bites were piled high on the waffle and were so hot and delicious. This dish came with spicy maple syrup, which was yummy. Our server, Kaysie, recommended the candied jalapenos and they were amazing! My wife ordered the chicken biscuits. It had the same delicious chicken bites served along with homemade (yes, really!) biscuits. We had a delightful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will return. Two things to remember, they're only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am 'til 2 pm. The other thing is it is a small restaurant, and because the food is so good, you'll likely have to wait a bit to be seated. Trust me, you won't regret trying this local gem.

Definitely a hidden gem and must try if you’re in the area. I had a ham and cheese omelette and my wife had pancakes. My omelette was delicious, and the gravy was a welcomed addition. It reminded me of when I was in the military. The pancakes are huge. My wife could only eat one. I highly recommend sharing the pancakes. They are more than enough for two people. I don’t know who’s making biscuits there, but they would make my grannie proud!!

Great little place. Place was packed with lots of people enjoying their Saturday morning. There is also an outside patio. Menu provides just what you want. Pancakes are fluffy, silk and delicious. Glad I stumbled on this cozy cafe.

Grits Cafe is our breakfast spot in Millbrook. The biscuits are some of the best I’ve ever had, and everything we’ve tried has been fresh and delicious. They’re only open on Saturdays and Sundays, and it always feels like such a treat when we get to go. Since the food is made to order, it’s not the place to go if you’re in a hurry, but it is always worth the wait. Definitely a local spot we love coming back to.
